We help leaders design organisations that work, build leadership capability and create cultures where people do their best work. For leadership teams and HR leaders in organisations going through growth or change.
We supported a team through an organisational redesign focused on reducing headcount while maintaining operational capability. By reviewing role structures, identifying opportunities to broaden responsibilities and reducing unnecessary specialisation, we developed a more flexible team model designed to operate efficiently with fewer roles.
Our approach
The approach focused on making better use of existing capability, creating clearer accountabilities and distributing responsibilities more effectively, rather than simply adding work to remaining team members.
The result
The result was a leaner organisational structure with broader roles, greater flexibility and a more sustainable approach to workforce efficiency.

Creating a more streamlined, resilient organisation
What we did
We supported a security and surveillance company through a targeted organisational review to identify opportunities to simplify structures, reduce duplication and improve operational efficiency. By reviewing spans and layers, identifying overly specialised roles and broadening responsibilities, we developed recommendations to better align roles with business needs.
Our approach
The approach focused on improving ways of working, strengthening business continuity by reducing single points of failure and creating better employee experiences. Where appropriate, role realignment also created opportunities for increased responsibility and higher remuneration, alongside delivering cost savings and efficiencies.
The result
The result was a more streamlined and resilient organisational structure, with broader roles, improved workforce flexibility and a more effective way of operating.
Culture and engagement
03
Strengthening culture and employee engagement
What we did
We partnered with a client to conduct employee culture and engagement surveys, gathering insights into team experiences, engagement levels and opportunities for improvement. Using these findings, we developed a targeted 12-month action plan aligned to the organisation’s desired future state.
Our approach
The approach translated employee feedback into clear focus areas, each supported by targeted initiatives and practical actions. These included a structured communications plan, leadership development and training programs, employee connection and recognition initiatives, and strengthened talent and succession planning.
The result
The result was a targeted roadmap to address cultural challenges, improve employee engagement and build a more connected, capable and high-performing workplace.
Culture and engagement
04
Embedding diversity and inclusion in the workplace
What we did
We partnered with a client to establish employee network groups that championed diversity and inclusion across the organisation. Bringing together representatives from different departments, the groups provided a platform to gather employee feedback, identify barriers to inclusion and translate insights into meaningful workplace initiatives.
Our approach
Working collaboratively with employees and leadership, we developed practical actions and policy improvements to support a more inclusive employee experience. Initiatives included introducing public holiday swap arrangements, enhancing flexible working practices and identifying further opportunities to better accommodate diverse employee needs.
The result
The result was a more inclusive and employee-led approach to workplace culture, with stronger representation, greater employee voice and practical policies that supported a more diverse and equitable working environment.
